Live rocket launch

I was at the Kennedy Space Centre today. There was a real buzz around TESS, and then a massive let down. Got a shed load of free stuff though. Going back on Wednesday. Fingers crossed. Still had a great day though. Saturn V and Atlantis amazing. Saw the  ‘Belt of Venus’ from the beach early evening.

I am so mad, I came inside leaving my set up taking images of the Leo Triplet, got the feed up with 15 mins to go, and woke up 10 mins after launch having missed all the action.

Is always the way of the world that...have done that few times in getting up early to watch a GP.  All up, set ready to go....and then it has finished.

Was an amazing thing to see.  24 landings now is truly amazing.  At this number it can almost be classed as being the norm and run of the mill / everyday, but it still amazes me and fills we with awe that they are able to do this.  Can't wait until they are able to recover the second stage and make a fully reusable launch vehicle.

All they need now is a vibration-proof webcam on the drone ship!

It's getting too easy now. Amazon will be selling Falcon 9 kits before you know it. Well, actually cheap Chinese copies :)

Need more boosters returning in unison or maybe a "Houston, we have a problem" moment. Ways off that though!
