Great piece of kit that. I currently use a concenter and would love to see how much more accurate this is.

for me I couldn't focus on the concentre rings- I bought the regular one and I know they do a longer one for older eyes. So it works better in that respect for me. But the real magic is being able to adjust focus with a slider so you can accurately align on the focuser draw tube edge then shift the focus to each successive edge and zoom in for more accuracy- its a game changer I think. Makes it all so much easier and I think more accurate. Plus its a fixed "eye" that doesn't shift its perspective

An Oklop padded bag / backpack for my iOptron RC6. The bag is designed for a 180 MC, but is the perfect size for the RC6 with all the extension rings and focuser fitted.

I am seriously thinking about one. I have a hotech laser, concenter and cheshire. Think if I push the button the concenter and cheshire will go.

I do love my 12.5mil Morph....I'd get the 14 too but I already have a Pentax XW 14 and I can't justify both of them...😟 It's just a shame @FLO haven't got the other focal lengths.

A nice couple of gifts to celebrate .. Firstly a Williams Optics 45 degree prism from @Stu a chance possibly to use it on the moon tonight , with the tripod fully extended :)

secondly , a nice gift from my long suffering wife , who I believe actually loves astronomy as much as I do , but chooses not to show it in anyway .. a Star Adventurer 2i . Having bought a 70-300 lens a couple of weeks ago I am “hoping”to take some lovely photos . Hmm maybe a new tripod to go with the set up???? ( better wait a while for that 😂😂

Surley calling it a collapsible stool is tempting fate!

On a marketing point, indeed not a good name...But
for an insurance claim a very good name, ' we did say it was collapsible in its name your honour'

ZWO off axis guider. Finally I can really start using my new Edge 9.25" 😃

ZWO OAG.jpg

It turns out they sent me the wrong one! 🤦‍♂️

With the ASI174mm guide camera this OAG has too small a prism and you get vignetting. SO annoying

So now they've sent the proper one. So I can finally get going

Lovely lot of goodies, hopefully your neck will get better soon and you can have first light with your new scope, 👍

I've wanted a set of these for a while, but the ones on the big river seem to have silly prices.

I picked up these two separately on fleabay instead, less than £15 for the pair. Just need to find Vol 1 (which contains the glossary and key!)

These can be got at Dover Books too. Just checked and they are awaiting stock. Keep an eye on it as they aren’t asking silly prices for them. I got 2 new copies from them a few months back.

That RACI looks really familiar for some reason

How about an Orion 20 LHD Lanthanum 80 degree eyepeice.  Long Eye Relief and fully multicoated.  Have to comment about the packaging.  Never seen a tube for an eyepeice before, it's a interesting idea.  The top of the eyepiece screws completely off so I suppose this is a good thing for glasses wearers.  If weight equals quality I would say this one is a winner because it definitely has some heft to it.  Unfortunately what also came with it....clouds....lots and lots of clouds.

I am pretty sure they are the same just with different branding.  Orion has had them for a few years now.
