Bionoculars for our Daughter for Christmas, she has expressed the need for some,
she works shifts and stops and looks at the night sky on lates when going home.

So nice (we tested them) that I have just ordered another pair for myself. All via FLO of course.

I think this is more the ticket for @JeremyS, saves on fuel and is of course TV colours as requested!

Straight Blade Scissors with Green Handle (6")

It would be akin to painting the 4th Bridge ... by the time hes cut the grass it will be time to start again , which would mean he doesnt need his scopes as he won't have time to use them :)

I expect to see a "For Sale " sign , @JeremyS

Not today, but this week.

This works really well in replacement for the handset that came with the foucuser I have (SW clone), I did have the ascom driver working when it plugged directly into a USB port, but I can't see it fom the new hub.

A dummy battery for the 40D a USB 3 hub,.

Which ones? I have found eye relief with the 35mm too long, and with the 5mm too short. The 7.5 is OK for me, but a bit tight for bino-viewing. Orion Telescope, here in the USA, used to market a line called "Ultrascopic" which were very similar in design, but with greater eye relief in the 7.5, 5, and 3.8mm lengths, making them suitable for the bino-view option, for me.

Good luck acquiring more.

.

It’s a real mix 😊 I have celestron 30, 18, 7.5, 5, Meade 26 (v.nice), a Masuyama 20 (with fogged cement), a Parks and a Baader (can’t remember which but 20 and 15), and a Lichtenknecher Optics (!) rebadged Eudiascopic 3.8 (with the built in barlow)

The eye relief on the 5 is tight but it’s very nice. Not so keen on the 3.8 but it may be just the extra magnification making it seem less sharp and dim.

The 30 is nice but I have an issue with longer fl eps and suffer coma/astigmatism in my f5 scope so use the 26 more

Mark

PS i took the 7.5 apart last night as it looked like it needed a clean- turned out to be blotchy coatings i guess from the factory. I was surprised to find it’s not just a symmetrical plossl type with an extra lens sandwiched between the doublets- the doublets are different. The one at the field end is concave towards the field whereas the eye lens is plano towards the eye.

Just received this rather nice 17.5mm Morpheus from FLO. Beautifully put together in a nice box with magnetic lid and lots of accessories that I will never use! Includes an interesting metal ‘tie clip’ type device which I think you attach to the pouch and allows you to determine the eyepiece size by feel… or something like that. The most expensive eyepiece I have bought and inevitably the start of a slippery slope. 😉Looking forward to first light.

I had a lovely set of Parks Gold Pseudo Masuyamas a few years ago..one of those sets I wished I had kept..I had all except the 5mm (much too short eye relief for me), and the 35mm. I bought 6 as a set and the 3.8mm with Smyth lens separately.

Very nice eyepieces and all with no undercuts.

Fantastic eyepiece. Once you start using it you will develop an itch to buy the other focal lengths. Keep us posted 👍

Few bits arrived today…

Clicklock 2” to 1.25” Adaptor - Got fed up swapping, so now DZ, M180 and FOA60 can all accept 1.25” eyepieces easily again

Baader ND Filter

ES 24mm 68 - My FC-76DCU has been reverted to 1.25” eyepieces only (keeping it simple) and so this is the new “widefield” eyepiece… I sold my Pan24 last year and long wait for another and Erfle no longer available. As reviews of this one are good, it should be perfect for the role, and slightly better eye relief… it’s also about the same weight as all my 1.25” XWs, so will make scope balancing a non issue 🤞

Trying to get rid of some packing popcorn, FLO? This large box had an ASI air and two cables, the rest was padding - love it 😂

Seriously though thanks @FLO once again, this really made my day after being told I may not make the latest shipment next week, let alone it being delivered this afternoon! Now, what have we got in Warehouse 2 👀

The ES24 68 is a cracking eyepiece Gary. I've not used a Panoptic 24mm but I know they are revered on the forums. I think you will like the ES 24, very comfortable, well built and delivers nice widefield views.

I bought mine about 8 years or more back when Bresser.de did occasional silly deals on eyepieces..I think to get more units out into the field and build awareness of their products (this was before Telescope House was taken over)..I paid £59 shipped from Germany for mine!😱😎.

Of course, true to form (then..I've learned my lesson since!), I sold it and bought a Vixen LVW 22mm (fabulous eyepiece).

Enjoy yours, and let us have your thoughts post first light?

Dave
