Fay
SW120, Canon 600D, cls, ISO 1600, 1/500th, focused via liveviewI set up in the garden, to try for the ISS as it passed Jupiter and an astro friend of mine came around. the scope was moved to between Jupiter and Pollux, but as it appeared we realised we were going to miss it, panic stations, so John, unlocked the DEC/RA and locked onto it via the Telrad, while I took the pictures, and we were quite pleased with our first attempt,. Fayapologies if I have already posted this, thought I had, but cant find it!

Fay
You are all very kind, thankyou.Lee, focused on Jupiter, could easily see the bands and moons via Liveview. put camera on continuous shots, used remote cable, the 600D only takes a few before it says BUSY, so had to be careful not to waste too many shots when ISS was not in the frame.Fay
leemanley
Thanks Fay, I wonder now if I could try it in movie crop mode aswell and stack the frames.......might be worth a goLee

Astrosurf
Incredible!I've never done this before so used vid crop mode in RAW. It was a pretty pants result, especially due to thin cloud. I hope to do better next time.Alexxx
