Due to lack of use I am selling my Celestron Nexstar 6SE plus Baader Hyperion Zoom MkIII. Also a USB>serial cable for software updates. Manuals are in the house somewhere and will dig them out if sold. Original eyepeice is also included All in great condition. Based in South Lanarkshire and am happy to drive a reasonable distance to deliver if buyer pays fuel costs. May consider shipping at buyers cost and risk. Asking for £500 for the lot .

Baader Hyperion Zoom Help
sctb78 replied to sctb78's topic in Getting Started Equipment Help and Advice
Thanks for the help folks. Any idea where I could source a more suitable screw? Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk -
My 6SE came already attached to the mount and I've never taken it off. I do the same as Luke, just attach everything to the tripod. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk

Once again thanks everyone, Simple when you think about it. Doh! Scott Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk -
I did the same last night with my 6SE but packed up after half an hour. To bright and hazy for me to see anything other than The Moon and Jupiter. Itching to try out my new Baader Zoom on some DSOs.. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk

Baader Hyperion Zoom Help
sctb78 replied to sctb78's topic in Getting Started Equipment Help and Advice
Thanks for the suggestions. I tried turning the ring around but doing that means there is no thread for the nosepiece to screw into. @ianm2k4 thanks for the tip. I'll back the eyepiece off a little from now on. Scott Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk -
Hello, I recently received a Baader Hyperion Zoom for use with my Celestron Nexstar 6SE. I have not had a chance to really get a good session in yet but wondered if the helpful folks of SGL can let me know if I've attached the eyepiece correctly. I've included a couple of pictures. I'm puzzled regards the screws on the diagonal. They seem to scrape the bottom of the zoom. Is this to be expected or have I got things wrong? Thanks in advance. Scott. I received the Baader yesterday and managed a quick session last night. Pretty cloudy but I was successful at catching Jupiter which looked great all the way to 8mm. I'm looking forward to getting a good clear night to have a proper play. So far so good though. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk
