Definitely better results today, so putting last night down to conditions.   Unfortunately I slept through the alarm and didn't get out until 04:15 and probably missed the best as the quality deteriorated after the first couple of channels.   However, pleased with the first run, particuarly the detail in the red channel.

Captured at 3400mm, F13.6 with Europa 250, QHY5L-IIM, Baader filters and TV x3 barlow.   Processed, stacking in AS!2, wavelets R6 and post processed in IA.

Definitely better than last night and feeling much happier this morning :)

Nice work there Jake. Did you used a separate small alignment box on the moon?

In truth Freddie, I was going to crop it out - but this is probably the first time that WInjupos has managed to align a moon correctly for me [emoji3]

I'll give it proper attention tonight and give it a bit of a stretch.

I've just done some New Years day processing as a demo for my mum.   Definitely a harder process than original but does bring out a ton of detail.

I've tried two different PP routines for comparison in Image Analyser and Photoshop:

I'm not sure of the surface detail on Calisto, I suspect this is my secondary, but nice to get a little colour on this moon and for the WJ alignment to work so well on it.
