Hello to my fellow Astronomers

Just joined this site, my name is Tom.  I am from sunny Florida and currently live in London, England.  Always loved astronomy, I am especially interested in the history of planetary formation, pulsars and quasars.  I was always interested in astronomy but in 2005, I took an introductory course in astronomy taught by a retired U.S. Navy submarine commander.  We had a 26 inch telescope that previously belonged to the U.S. Air Force, we have had some fantastic observation sessions there.  I find the Valles Marineris canyon on Mars very interesting.  I hope to make new friends here and good stargazing.
