  1. Does anyone have some advice on a good pair of binoculars for star gazing. Been out of it for a while and not sure what's on the market. Thank you.
  2. I have to agree with other comments here. Get a good set of binoculars instead. A real good telescope will cost you thousands.
  3. Just joined this site, my name is Tom. I am from sunny Florida and currently live in London, England. Always loved astronomy, I am especially interested in the history of planetary formation, pulsars and quasars. I was always interested in astronomy but in 2005, I took an introductory course in astronomy taught by a retired U.S. Navy submarine commander. We had a 26 inch telescope that previously belonged to the U.S. Air Force, we have had some fantastic observation sessions there. I find the Valles Marineris canyon on Mars very interesting.
