Hi from West Yorkshire

Good afternoon all from a reasonably mild west yorkshire,( wakefield ) been around forums for a number of years but never joined a stargazing one.  I had a mead 4505 scope up until a couple of years ago, the mount broke and I tried welding up but no good so I threw it away before moving to NZ for a year.  Bought a pair of celstron 25x70 porro binos but they just are not powerful enough and after coming back to the uk I bought a skywatch 127 skymax goto.  Now looking for some advice on lenses as I cannot get the views I believe I should be expecting.
