Guided via SC3 webcam and K3CCDTools through Tal200K Mak.

A hint of coma yes, but not surprising with that FOV, and it doesn't detract from what is otherwise 'cracking' image.

Thanks guys, it was nice to get out at it again. Been working my butt off with loads of places being shut down for summer repairs. Corby and Redcar in one day is great fun (NOT!).

Marius, there's no difference between an Achro and an APO (or superAPO) through a narrow band filter, so you get to do imaging and keep both kidneys. The f/5 achros are fast and give wide field images, which is nice, and you need fast with Ha as that really puts the brakes on the exposures. You do get some abberations but mostly Photoshop can fix them.

Whats all this coma then? Would that be wonky stars at the edges? I must say I hadn't noticed them and its a lot better than the ED80 plus 2" focal reducer that I did the big Pelican with.

yes thats it KK , on the edges they throw out a bit , but as already stated , it shows up more on the enlarged scale, i,m not being picky KK , just an observation mate .
