  1. Don't sell just yet, put them away for a while and concentrate on visual. If you look at the equipment again in a few months and still fell the same then sell.
  2. Good experiment with the short exposures, image has turned out quite well I think. Definitely has the evil eye look about it, or me on a Sunday morning in my youth.
  3. Nice one, got a few extra fuzzies as well.
  4. Pretty good for low on the horizon.
  5. How about using 3 wheel furniture dollies. One under each leg, wheel it about then take the off once in position. Hell of a lot cheaper.
  6. Looks great without the Ha. Lovely image.
  7. Doesn't look like it, do you have a link to them? I had a quick google and found nothing.
  8. Looks good to me, pale natural looking colours overall with a bit more showing in the cigar.
  9. There was a recent thread and one member suggested using some sort of ethernet cable that you would have to make up. It Active cables aren't working for you then maybe an ethernet set up might be the way to go.
  10. I think with Ekos it's picking the right drivers from the profile list and letting it cycle through the ports. Maybe also changing the Baud Rate might work if it doesn't connect. Yes its the GPCAM3 which is USB 3. On my old MacAir I had to plug it in directly and not through the USB Hub, though I reckon that was down to the laptop. New MacBook Pro and everything connects through Hub fine. I could probably do some imaging with it as well.
  11. Nah, they'll see a fake straight away, doesn't have USB-C.
  12. Gotcha. So basically they've built in a Pegasus PB type affair.
  13. OMG All that in one frame. Easier to count the stars.
  14. Looks good to me, a very nice handful of galaxies you've nabbed.
  15. I think it was the night of the 16th I saw a faint one coming from the East and a couple of faint possibles but the night before was a really bright shooter heading South from the Big Dipper.
  16. Much better with the reduced red.
  17. I had some of this weirdness in EQ as well. Had no idea what it was doing so linked to computer and software leaving the handset completely out of the equation and it all seems to work well.
  18. Samyang and others all have Canon EF mount options so there are plenty to choose from. You will need a Canon T-Ring adapter and 2" adapter. Depending on your telescopes back focus you may well need spacers as well to achieve focus. If the compression ring can be unscrewed then a screw on adapter will be more stable.
  19. How about a SW AZ EQ6, can be set up as Alt Az or EQ (for RA tracking).
