    Looks like a decent all rounder kit, though zoom lenses aren't the greatest for astrophotography. Widefield I would add something fairly fast around f/2 14mm to 30mm. For nebula the Samyang 135mm or something up to 400mm or so. You won't need autofocus so lenses are cheaper. Luna I would think 400mm minimum Planetary, you will most likely want a telescope.

    Forget Hubble, that first image is a killer. I think that is stunning. I'll have a word with the Mrs see if its within budget. 🤣

    Maybe have a try with KStars/Ekos. They have a QHY driver installed in the profiles and works with PHD2.

    You could try shining a red light across the polar scope opening.

    Last image definitely looks like has more detail in the outlying arms. Lovely image and very natural looking.

    Sorry, it's just the extension for my AZ EQ6. Extends the height 8".

    Yup, that'll be a problem. Just checked my setup and it looks like the extension pier will be fine.

    Does seem a little weird, could be that the different colour filters focus at different lengths.

    The power box comes with a cable similar to the last image I posted. 4th item down. If you buy the unit he recommends , select the 2.1mm connector option.

    It looks like I might get away with my 250PDS on one side and 115EDT on the other. Handy when grandchildren are around, might save some squabbling.

    I've got my FW pretty much straight up, pier extension came last night so that will give me even more clearance. So far the balance is pretty good with the FW upwards. Got a picture you can show?

    Yes, that is correct. The Powerbox Advanced will come with a power cable similar to this one below. It plugs into the large round socket in the power supply.
