  4. Hi and welcome Matt. I second bosun21, a good scope to start with. My first 'proper' scope was an 8" reflector and had many great years observing with it.

  6. Seems to be a theme here our spare bedroom is also a craft room, my astro equipment is crammed in the little cupboard under the stairs.

  11. Stunning image Adam. When looking at the full res image I noticed this object, can anyone tell what it is? I've looked at some other images and I've found it on a few. this one is in a H-alpha image. and this on in a Hubble palette

  16. Thanks Chris, I enjoyed that. I managed to get all 15 but I have an advantage as I've been quizmaster for the Derby & District Astronomical Society for a few years now and I've posed many of these questions myself at sometime
  17. Agreed, a great report, next best thing to being out there myself as all I have is cloud here in the UK at the moment.
