  6. Hi and welcome Matt. I second bosun21, a good scope to start with. My first 'proper' scope was an 8" reflector and had many great years observing with it.

  8. Seems to be a theme here our spare bedroom is also a craft room, my astro equipment is crammed in the little cupboard under the stairs.

  13. Stunning image Adam. When looking at the full res image I noticed this object, can anyone tell what it is? I've looked at some other images and I've found it on a few. this one is in a H-alpha image. and this on in a Hubble palette
