  1. Jupiter and Saturn so low at the moment it is a difficult time to observe them. I image/observed them 2 weeks ago, the view was dreadful. You might want to ask a moderator to move this thread to the "Planetary observing" section where you should get more responses.
  2. Fantastic Prom capture, looks an absolute beauty!
  3. Very nicely captured, superb looking Prom.
  4. Excellent. Thanks for sharing, very enjoyable and informative.
  5. Its been removed now, i have seen a few items like this. Ebay do seem to care about this sort of scam, especially as they make no money from it. Amazon and Ebay are both great sites when things are good, but you really do have to tread carefully on both of them.
  6. An hours "exercise" at the 3:30am, i could easily peddle to a decnt view in 10 minutes. I think things will be little more flexible in 3 weeks though.
  7. Space debris renetering the atmosphere maybe?
  8. yes definitely, might have a tail pointing up from the horizon perhaps.
  9. Hello again, i think this is defnitely a record for my 10 years between posts in the same thread 🙂 Good to hear you are back out under the stars again, hopefully we might have a comet to see in a few weeks time.
  10. There are some stunning images doing the rounds at the moment, hoptefully it will give us a little show at least later in the month. Going to be difficult to view it if the lockdown is going on though from my garden.
  11. Interesting area, worth the effort capturing it.
  12. That is very well captured, nice focus on the ISS and the Sun.
  13. I had some nice views yesterday of that Prom, it was very nicely visible in my Lunt50. There was also plenty of cloud around, so i didnt bother to image it at all. Good see a close up view of it.
  14. Hopefully they will continue tomorrow, weather permitting.
  15. That has come out very well, not easy to stitch them with so little going on.
  16. oh no, what a shame. Hopefully it will not too much longer. We havw not seen our three for nearly 6 weeks either, thankfully we have video chats, not the same though. Can not wait to give all three a masive hug! 😍
  17. Just as an indicator of how difficult it is imaging Jupiter at the moment. I consider myself a pretty experienced imager, with some very capable equipment. I managed this about 2 weeks ago, you can see the equatorial belts, but that is about all.
