  1. Fantastic image! Never a dull moment on the Sun, despite the best efforts of the Solar minimum.
  2. I was hoping the last little batch of spots was the beginning of the end of the minimum. Looks like we are still deep in the minimum, 76% blank so far this year!
  3. Nice comparison, a lovely sharp phase visible.
  4. Interesting watching Venus at the moment, it really is disappearing fast now. Not only the phase is shrinking, but it is getting closer to Sun so quickly!
  5. Nice images, good to see Atlas still putting on a show.
  6. I had a very brief "binocular" view this morning, a stunning sight at the moment. Hopefully going to be joined be Comet Swan later this month.
  7. Thanks for sharing this technique, looking forward to trying it out.
  8. Interesting difference between the images, I also am not sure about adaptive sharpening.
  9. Some nice action there around the limb
  10. As thoughts start to turn to the 2020 Noctlilucent Cloud season, i wondered what the prospects might be this year. On a personal level, last year was pretty disappointing for me, even though there were some excellent displays. I seemed to miss them all. With the global lock-downs, no air travel, very little car traffic and cleaner atmospheres all around the world. I know the clouds are very high (80km), but as they are linked to modern pollution levels, it will be interesting to see if this has an effect on this years displays.
  11. Nicely captured, a nice looking phase visible there.
  12. Nice looking phase visible there.
