Could you see the Prom on the Capture screen.

Pretty dreadful conditions this afternoon, i was hoping that imaging Venus nice and high up at 3pm it would be the best conditions. It was so hot though, 32 degrees in my observatory. Nice to catch an even thinner crescent, hoping to try and get a thinner one than the 2.2% i got the last time around. C9.25, X1.8 Barlow, and 807 filter. Not the best image, but ok considering the conditions

That's a great looking Prom, very well captured!

It could be focus, but i think it might be not exposed for long enough for the proms. Usually the disc is completely overexposed when the proms are being captured.

Seen them pretty much every night Reggie. We are going through a bit of a drought at the moment, its been very dry and pretty clear for quite a while. Particularly nice view last night with the Moon in the same area as well. Venus is disappearing really quickly now. I hope you are keeping well Reggie 👍

It has been ages since i saw a really big Filament, looking forward to when the Sun becomes more active again.
