Nakedgun
~ These arrived today, fully multi-coated orthos made in Japan. I have volcano-tops in 4,5,6,7 & 9, then use Plössls up from there. I will probably have to find other uses for those Plössls, now. .

Not sure how wise this purchase has been either, I am very spare time poor at the moment, but hey, nothing ventured, nothing gained! Also got a few little helpers too: That's a dew shield; Bhatinov mask; dust cover and EQ5 tripod convertor, not sure it will work for the SS50, but I think it should. Fantastic delivery from FLO as usual too, thanks guys. Nice image of the box but im afraid you’ve blown out the core. 2

However, I have received another parcel, have attempted to photograph the contents, but appear to be still be having problems. Spacing? Tilt? Over exposure? I just don't know... The moon map is for the wall, maybe learn a bit too, goodness knows I need to learn my Lunar geography! The double star book, by our very own @Ags is very good, but I meant to get the spiral bound version, but saw this on Amazon and it fell into the basket! Now I don't know if I should buy a second copy, this time spiral bound, or operate on the one and put in a spiral folder type of thing, with lots of little pockets. It just seem to be almost blasphemous, to take a book apart! I will get sent to literary hell! 8
Ags
I also struggle with Lunar Geography, even get the seas mixed up!
Saganite
Impressed with Dave's ( f15 Rules) Moon image recently, and Stu's recommendation, this arrived this morning and I have to say it so well made, all anodised aluminium, it feels high quality. I look forward to taking a few smart phone images. 17
Nigella Bryant
New to me Altair Astro 1600m Pro Teck camera. It was to good to resist, lol. Resistance is futile, lol. Not sure but it doesn't look used much.

josefk
Received today from @Franklin - four mint heavyweights for my Astro shelf. I've been after the Uranometria atlas for a while, the deep sky field guide you can still purchase from FLO but i gather it only makes sense or makes most sense when you use it with its intended atlas and that is not sold new in the UK anymore. It is available from Sky & Telescope in the US and though i've had it in my online shopping basket a few times it is hellish expensive bought like that when shipping is added in. Anyway, i'm chuffed to have these new to me reference books and look forward to getting stuck-in.
Ratlet
Been threatening it for a while now and the one in the for sale section was too good to turn down. Packaged to withstand a nuclear bomb blast too. Bigger than I thought but still quite small. Hopefully get some clear skies tonight and give it a burl on Jupiter and Orion. Delighted. Edit: please don't make direct eye contact with the bunny in the pokeball. My daughter made it and I'm pretty sure it'll curse you. AlcorAlly
My first post in this thread. It's a good day. The postman brought a beautiful vintage Vixen ED102 f9. I was very nervous about having this rare telescope posted but the seller kept me informed and reassured throughout the process - thank you Ian! 👑 A quick test on nearby branches showed a nice sharp image with no false colour at 130x so I'm very excited. Looking forward to running it against the little Takahashi

badhex
First time here in a while - finally got round to picking up the tiny Borg single arm fork mount thanks to @Franklin Was always the plan to go with my converted Evoguide 50ED, so looking forward to testing when there is finally the opportunity!

Naughty Neal
This one arrived yesterday, quite appropriate for my location. I just can't get on with LTAO and it's format and size. Edited February 29 by Naughty Neal A better picture.

Ags
An inexpensive amici prism for looking at the Moon and a finder project, a low profile SCT-T2 adapter, and two finder shoes. I bought the Baader shoe for my ZS66 but it only fits the C6. I bought the WO shoe for the C6 but it only fits the ZS66. 5

F15Rules
I couldn't resist this lovely old c1980s Celestron Japan 30mm Plossl, complete with original box.. It looks virtually identical to the later Ultima 30mm, with very solid build and a lovely large eyelens...and a smooth barrel!!👍😁 Shown here next to a modern Vixen NPL 30mm 50 degree plossl for scale.. The Celestron was supposed to have a 52 degree fov rather than the more usual 50 degrees of most plossls. Comparing the daytime view through both eyepieces, the Celestron definitely has a wider field - perhaps even slightly more than 52 degrees. Both eps have a very sharp field stop. Can't wait to try it out! Dave
SwiMatt
One for clear skies, one for cloudy nights (well ideally both for clear skies but there is a shortage currently): the diagonal substitutes the erecting prism that came with my Mak.
SuburbanMak
He brought an ADM Tak clamshell vixen bar. This is a beautifully engineered thing allowing me to run matchy-matchy Tak clamshell mounts on the AZGTiX for the FS60Q & FC100DC Edited February 29 by SuburbanMak
