Hello,

My name is Sam and at long last I have taken the liberty to indulge in my lifelong interest in the night sky. Although most of time I was quite happy to view the sky with eyes alone, I have recently had the opportunity to own an 8" Dobsonian and am really looking forward to trying it out after learning to collimate, etc.

I sincerely hope I can dedicate a lot of time to studying the night sky...and to get to know some of you in this fine community.
