Greetings everyone.  I have lurked for a bit off an on for a while and figured I would finally create and account and say hello.  I am impressed by the warm community feeling here from virtually everyone.  While I have had most of my equipment for 2 years sitting in a box brand new unopened for 2+ years, this covid thing has me trying to find some new things to do.

A little bit about myself ....

I am on the Space Coast of Florida.  Old enough to know better but still young enough to be amazed by simple things.  I do it support as a primary job function.  My gear / rig /s etup / whatever the lingo is (lol) ...

My friend and I have gone out to 'the compound' the last 3 nights for a few hours.  We got a couple nice pics with our mobiles (S10 & S20), but couldnt get my ASI290MC to focus on anything (including the moon).  Guess that is going to be one of my first hurdles, along with fitting a webcam for use, then maybe a DSLR in the future.
