Very nice! I personally received a pair of Celestron Skymaster Pro 20x80 binos, a wood bookmark with the planets engraved on it, a new headlamp, and a set of the Retro 51 Space Race series pens for the Mercury, Gemini and Apollo missions.

Very cool!

Looking at the title of this post I assume it was your intention to start a thread for everyone to post pictures of their gifts too?

If so - it was such a good idea I've added mine ?  (if not, I'll delete my post ?

Check it out.......

I received a multi-coloured illuminated Moon, Moon t-shirt and an illuminated baseball cap for Kelling (makes it easier for people to take me down with a well hurled can of Pepsi during imaging sessions! LOL!)

A gift for my 6 year old - SW ST80 on an EQ1 TT. I might get a tripod for it, but I’m happy this is a robust enough scope that she can work away herself, and unlikely that it will get broken easily.

I asked her ‘what must you never do with a telescope?’

Her reply was ‘never touch the lens at the front’ (she pays attention lol)

Of course the other thing she then said was never look at the sun ☀️

THAT is the THE coolest gift so far ?  Great picture too - she'll treasure that for years ?

Wow....just starting out on the journey.

Thanks David. When she told me the other day that the third man to moon was Michael Collins, I had to look it up. I had no idea.  She’s smarter than me ?

Very nice - had a look at on Blackwells (spoiler alert - don't follow that link if you don't want to know the prices haha!)

And of course my birthday (Nov) and Christmas isn't until the END of 2019 ? ....so I have a bit of a wait if I'd like one myself ?

tooth_dr should send that to Sky at Night Magazine or something similar - don't you think? You're right - it is such a heart warming picture - my wife just saw it and let out a huge "Awwwwwww" ?
