Just a very short session (small window before the cloud rolled in) testing out the AZ75 at long last… loaded up with FOA-60Q and FC-100DZ 😀

Very impressive little mount 👍

Now that setup looks perfect, Gary. Interesting to see you’ve mounted the FC 100DZ saddle directly onto the mount 👍🏻

Beautiful setup! That mount was made for sitting between two Taks :)

Seeing is good tonight: planetary action on the gas giants with the Mu 210. In for a break as some light cloud passes:

I love the look of the mewlons, I’d be lying if I said I hadn’t been looking at the 180C. 😃

Was really chuffed tonight. Discovered that the FOA 60 clam shell is symmetrical so I can attach it to my Manfrotto fluid head on the gitzo and make it truely one handed grab and go! GRS very easily seen and the double double an easy split. @JeremyS told me that the law's of physics were not applicable to Takahashi's. I believe him:)

Lovely setup and (as you know) I'm a big fan of the FC-76DCU(Q) setup for grab and go 😁

I need to consider getting one of these carbon fibre tripods for extra portability (currently using Berleback Report 472)... I guess they're significantly lighter 🤔
