Solar Ha April 10th

My first Solar outing since last September. Bit of an experiment with the Coronado PST & ASI224MC before cloud gave me too much hassle.

I have to ask (as I've not really dabbled into solar imagining) when you say this image is in H-alpha, are you using a standard H-alpha filter or is there a special kind for solar imaging?

This is using a specialist solar Ha telescope. If you are talking about Ha filters used in deep sky imaging then that is a big no no as they will not protect your eyes or equipment!
