Hi from Gibraltar (Britain in the Sun)

Hi everyone

I have been interested in Astronomy all my life and as a teenager (in Manchester) my father and I had a 6" reflector.

Recently I joined the Gibraltar Astronomical Society, and bought a Celestron Evolution 9.25 from First Light Optics.

What a superb piece of kit ! ! !

My dad lived in Gibraltar when he was 5 I think, while my grandad was in service there. How's the light pollution there? It looks (from images) that it might be hard to escape street lamp glare at least (it looks dense) but it doesn't look like there are city-levels of lights there so it might still be fairly dark skies...

Would be interested to know.
