Myself and members of my local astronomy group are on Sky News' Swipe program at 9.30pm tonight (Sky channel 501) talking about and demo-ing modern equipment that makes astronomy easier.

Everything from weather apps to goto scopes.  Should be useful for those who are new to astronomy and a bit of fun for those who know their way around a scope or three ;)

Thanks for the heads up Guys - I think if you go onto the Sky news website and scroll down to where the video's are, its on there.  So if you've not got sky, as said, its on Freeview 132 - not sure if its the full "swipe" episode but on the Sky News Homepage its around 10.00 Minutes long.

Here's the link its under the Technology section on the site.    http://news.sky.com/technology

Nice little article - watched the repeat in the early hours this morning. I was very impressed by that 11" Sct on a Goto mount (Celestron I think) all for fifteen hundred squids according to Dinesh. I'll have what he's having lol.
