Hullo star-gazers!

I'm Steven, a 32 year old metal worker who has always been fascinated with the night sky ever since my grandfather let me have a look at Jupiter and her moons through his binoculars!  Have always looked up and felt a sense of awe but have never owned a telescope, only my trusty pair of 10x50's! Hoping to take the leap soon though if I convince the wife I need one

As said above, google CSOG, a local forum based group who meet at a few dark sites around the Central Belt. If you get to any of our observing sessions you can get a look through the different scopes we have, may help your choice when you decide to get a scope of your own.
