Old Member Returning.

Hi everyone.

I'm just returning to astronomy after a couple of years away from the hobby. My interest was rekindled after receiving a copy of Steve Richards excellent book, Making Every Photon Count, for Christmas. The old scopes were dusted off, one or two new purchases made, and the DSLR has been working at every opportunity since! No doubt I'll be putting the results up here very soon. 

My main interest is capturing DSOs, but the recent addition of a ASI120MC camera has opened up the new avenue of planetary/lunar photography - a whole new ball game!

Hadn't realised how much I'd missed this pastime!

Welcome back. I am tempted to get an ASI120MC myself. The DMK I have is great, but there are times when clouds rush in and you do not want to faff around with a filter wheel. Very nice cameras by all accounts
