Hello everyone.

My name is Darren and I'm Secretary of Sheffield Astronomical Society.

I've been interested in astronomy and a society member for over 30 years. My main interest has generated to astro imaging, but I've had limited success without having a permanent setup. I'm hoping to get that sorted out some time this summer.

I don't know if it's customary to list your observing gear, but here it is.

Thanks for the welcome everyone, and yes, I get the Tarzan reference. Somehow that pic came up automatically. Who am I to argue with the way the Universe works?
