Hello all.

Been into observing for many a year only for pleasure though. just got a small dob of 150mm which is enough for me, i mainly search for globulars and the messiers which in most cases my 150 can pull them in. looking forward to them cold nights of hard frost which i find a pleasure looking at many objects in the cold, air seems so stable then.

My first time posting anywhere and its all new to me, so thanks for having me here and i shall look through the forum and have a read on many subjects.

Hi and welcome to the lounge,

you are right, I love a good frosty night too, it's going to be clear,

get well wrapped up, and you are in for a great nights observing,

can't wait. Early morning is a good time too.

Good Luck and Clear Sky's

Welcome Grandad, so nice to have you with us!

Look forward to hearing of your ventures with your newish scope and what you're able to view. I tend to think 6" is a very nice aperture!

Make sure you let us know how you are getting on!
