Recommend 9 or 10 mm Eyepiece

Can anyone recommend a good 9 or 10mm eyepiece to replace the one that came with the SW 200P for under £100. I have a 15mm TV Plossl and a 6mm Planetary eyepiece and am looking for an eyepiece between these two, thanks.

I have a 9mm Baader Genuine Ortho and a 10mm Televue Radian and love them both. You'd possibly get the latter and certainly the former for less than your budget. Others recommend the 8.5mm Pentax XF.

My advice would be an exquisite 9mm circle T Kokusai orthoscopic from lyras optics but only a 43degree field with this little beauty, failing that a celestron exel-lx

at just over £100 there is rhe Meade 5000 UWA 8.8 or for arounf £86 there is the Meade 5000 series HD-60 9mm both very good

Im still "exploring" these eyepiece`s but the small amount of time i have looked through them, have really pleased me, i have the full set and plan an in depth review a bit later in the year

I'm a Pentax XF8.5 man. Really great for the price.

Slightly off topic, but any thoughts on the 12? I've currently got a C9.25 with a 10mm Radian and might look to get a 12mm ep at some point.

I have only heard good reports of the XF12. I haven't used one, as I have a Nagler 12T4 which I do not plan to replace any time soon.

I managed to pick up my TV Radian 12mm for just over £100 a while ago on the buy sell section right here and it is in excellent condition and my fav planetary EP so if you look about on the second hand market some top notch EP's can be had for reasonable cash.

I second the X-Cel LX, having spent a couple of nights with the 25mm. I'm amazed by the price/performance ratio. I've got a 27 Panoptic and a 16mm WO UWAN, but I like the Celestron more.

If you are happy to buy second hand, a Televue Radian may be the way to go. I have the 12mm and it is an excellent eyepiece. Since the launch of the Delos which are basically superceding them, the potential to pick them up around your budget has increased.

I third the x-cel lx range. The 25mm is my favourite one. The views are excellent.

I use a 10mm Radian, and I think it is a great eyepiece, however there are many Ep's in this range that are very good too, Pentax XW 10mm e.g.
