I'm middle aged and a single dad of 3. I've looked up at the stars in wonder and awe all my life and have just got a Skywatcher 150pl on an EQ3-2. I had a read about and this seemed like the best I could afford. I'm very much looking forward to enjoying a voyage of discovery.

You'll find a wealth of info in here and there's are always folk around willing to share advice and tips 'n' tricks

SGL's forum search tool and Google are your friends. But if you can't find something, or don't understand, then it's daft not to ask - somebody on here (can't remember who) once said that the only stupid question is the one that you don't ask.

Here's hoping you have clear skies to go with your new 'scope and that your young uns get the astro-bug too :)
