  1. Number 3, also does all your pre-processing.

Very nice Steve, hope your colour data is just as good.
  3. Glad you sorted it out, now to get loads of colour data to match the piles of luminance.
  4. Does the filter motor run do you hear nothing ? If it runs it might just be out of alignment and not engaging the wheel.
  5. Looks like it will work. Guide cam doesn't need to be exactly aligned to lens, close is usually good enough especially if you can get the target in frame. Wonder if you have enough room to mount the guide under the green bar with the lens bolted directly on top instead of having to use the ball mount.
  6. Lovely image, nice colour stars.
  7. Well done Noddy, you've got some really nice detail in there.
  8. Well done, the detail looks good but colour seems a touch pale on my screen.
  9. Superb detail showing in the BW shot, well done.
  10. Small but sweet, well done.
  11. Lovely image, certainly is a weird effect.
  12. Lovely images, colour looks great.
  13. Pretty damn great image for rubbish seeing, iffy PA and poor position.
  14. I would say start with collimating the mirror and get a coma corrector. https://www.firstlightoptics.com/other-collimation-tools/premium-cheshire-collimating-eyepiece.html Link before for coma corrector.
  15. Meant to say back focus distance, that is the distance between your camera sensor and a coma corrector/ field flattener. As you do not have a coma corrector it is irrelevant at the moment, it's just that your stars are looking similar to the camera too close screen grab. Most optical adjustment attachments like field flatteners and coma correctors have a standard 55mm back focus, this allows for 10 or 11mm thickness of the camera adapter plus the 44 or 45mm distance from camera front flange to sensor.
  16. You might need to invest in one of these or similar. https://www.firstlightoptics.com/coma-correctors/skywatcher-coma-corrector.html Worth contacting FLO about suitability. Grabbed this from Altair, your image is showing the stars look like the back space is too short.
  17. What scope is it ? Are you using a coma corrector or field flattener ? If yes then your back spacing to the camera sensor may be off, looks like you're too close. Colimation can be dialled out by tweaking the mirror adjustment screws. All relatively easy fixes.
  18. Well done with picking up the halo, could it be colour inversion from the mask ?
  19. Well done, not easy especially at higher magnification. Maybe worth trying to bring the brightness levels down a little in post processing to try and kill the glow a little.
  20. Excellent image, well done.
  21. The spikes being uneven leads me to believe its colimation or coma with a little focus. I think the stars are worst in the top left corner but they all seem to have an outward halo/trail.
