Happy to be here.

My telescope (4.5 inch starblaster) and I have been frequenting the hard to find dark skies north of Sacramento, CA, since Christmas. I live in a heavily light polluted suburb of Sacramento and am fervently logging off my Messier object list. Just ordered my first astrophotography equipment to do some afocal and webcam work...we'll see how it goes before spending more $.

Hi Lyons -- I also live in Sacramento and was wondering what kind of luck you have had with observation?  I don't have a scope yet...kind of worried that light pollution will ruin the experience.
