Hi There ,

First post here , I have lurking around for a good number of years though gleaning valuable info and thought it was time to come into the light and meet what seems to be a friendly bunch .

I live on the west coast of Scotland , in the middle of nowhere with lovely dark skies ( when its not raining...).

My gears include an LXD55 8" SCT and a 127 skymax as a travel scope , WO binoviewers and meade series 4000 eyepieces .

While I have been out whenever possible , the raising of a young family coupled with house renovation and work commitments have meant less time under the stars over the last few years but things seem to be easing off and the bug is biting harder than ever and with that comes a few questions . Off I go the equipment help...
