Hello from NYC

Hello all. My name is Andrew. I am a photographer from NY. I love getting out of the city into dark sky areas any chance i get and plan on making some life changing decisions that will allow me to do these things i really love to do more regularly.  

I have only been lucky enough to shoot the milkyway using my dslr equipment 3 times so far and here are some images from each time. 

I plan on getting a eq6 syncscan and stellarium to shoot a bit deeper with my 400mm lens and eventually getting a telescope and ccd. 

Cant wait to read everything this site has to offer and get to know some of you!

i was also wondering if anyone has a link they can send me that explains the mm and f stops in telescopes as compared to cameras.  Whatever i read has me confused. And i wand to reaearch scopes
