Hello and welcome, were you not aware that when you buy a new scope you get between 5 and 10 days of cloud or rain and sometimes both. Still the good news is it's free your not charged for it when you pay for your scope. Hope you get clear skies soon.

Hello and welcome to SGL, the mysteries of the equatorial mount and the art of cloud-dodging.

As already pointed out, by buying a 'scope you have condemned us all to another few weeks of cloud, but don't feel too guilty 'cos we've all been there at some time or other.  I'm currently trying a new tactic:  by buying some solar imaging kit, I'm gambling the clouds will change from night time to day time..  Ha!
