Hi,

Its been long since I joined this forum. I was not able to figure out why I am not being able to say hello until today. I hadn't clicked the validation link!!!

Anyways, I consider myself a beginner amateur who started with astronomy 2 years back with a celestron travelscope. One look at andromeda on the lake district and it got me hooked. Now I own a C8 AVX, Startravel 102 and a Lunt 35mm scope. The travelscope is still around, I have started to use it as a guidescope now. Did my first run yesterday and it was successful. Imaging in London, that too near Canary Wharf is always difficult, when you are still learning and don't have the narrowband filters. I have my share of successes and frustrations almost alternate sessions.

I am here to learn, share experiences and hopefully gain some astro friends. Welcome matey, nice images. I live in Barking so if you ever want to catch up somewhere near, we start our thing around East London :)

Thanks mate, unfortunately I don't own a car and taking all my stuff with me is not practical... But hope we can catch up some time.
