Solar eclipse - yippee

Well we didn't go to Rutland water as the weather forecast was different in the morning, but by the looks of it was fine anyway. Ended up at Cannock Chaise but couldn't find the Chaise and missed first contact.

Great image Alexandra and pleased you actually saw it. Like you I recorded a tonne of data in both Ha and visible light, only done a rough process on the Ha so far, but there are few good ones.

Glad to hear you got to see it after all. As much as I would like to see more eclipses I'm not sure they are good for your health with all the stress over will-it / won't it be clear

Great catch alexandra.gotta agree with david it is bad for your health. I was in deep depression when i woke and it was complete grey. Then the near heart attack when clouds cleared and the broken back from carting heavy gear around a rubble filled building site. All part of the fun i guess
