Hello from cloudy skies.

Hi everyone! I live in Norway, and got a 6" newt last year. Advanced further, and invested in a goto mount some time later. Had some good observations with it, but wanted more. Long story short, I now has a 8" SCT, and is preparing for astro photography. But the skies are not kind, and clouds has been hanging over the area for last two months more or less.

Thanks for the welcome everyone!  @jason.p: I will be glad to share pictures. But...ehm...I need to get a camera. My old Nikon D70 is not the best for astrophotography. I have to focus through the cameras finder, and that implies some awkward body positions. And the focus I can achieve is far from perfect. I will have to get a camera with tilting screen and live view, or a dedicated astro camera.
