There's a whole host of different parts of the forum for specific questions, each with a short explanation of what sorts of questions should go in there. If nothing fits, you could try the Lounge - An area where everything else fits in :grin:

Hi Startraveller and welcome to SGL, by the time you have been with the forum for a short while you will be quite amazed how your knowledge of Astronomy will expand, just ask, learn and enjoy :)

Hi and welcome to the forum. If you are not sure where to post an astronomy question, then put it in the astro lounge and we can move it later for you to the correct location if it needs moving.
