It'll be quite a while till I get to test mine me thinks as the little frac doesn't have a 2" focuser!

If you're not busy come across. I think dawn is going out. You could try it on the Meade!

I think Kieran is busy with work as we've not heard from him for a while. I bet he's missing his imaging as much as we're missing his images!

The skies are looking good this evening, so hopefully some of you will have got out - hope you've managed to give that new EP a go in the Meade Soupy!

I've managed to culture a major ear infection, so feeling very sorry for myself and feeling like I'm being stabbed in the side of my head :(

Just thinking that it is good news we are holidaying in this country, as I can't begin to imagine what it would be like flying right now!

We've got no wifi in our cottage, and my phone is poor on it's wifi, so you'll all have a quiet week as I won't be on SGL much after tomorrow night lol

I'm taking my 80mm frac, and whatever gear I can squeeze in the car as I'm hoping we'll have some clear evenings and I can capitalise on the dark skies down there. Fingers crossed we can all get out as I think we're going a bit stir crazy!

Cracking night guys and the moon looks stunning. I've got no scope really so my new acquisitions will have to stay wrapped up

SGL is gonna be quiet we may all think the threads been shut down!

I know, I was thinking to myself that you'll all think there's a problem with the server lol.

Beautiful moon tonight - think we'll need our moon filters on to do any lunar observing though!

Really tempted to get the scope out, but I'm on early shift and really thinking that I can't be bothered (yes, me not being bothered - I told you I felt ill).

Might have 10 minutes with the binos and chance the brightness.

It's my left ear Mark - I'm hoping it starts to improve soon - horse tablet antibiotics and drops for 7 days should hopefully clear it up :)

Just come back in after a pleasant half an hour with the binos. Just had a scout around as I was stood in th front yard. Wow, the moon is bright tonight! Had a look around Lyra, Cynus and couldn't resist a view of Brocchi's Cluster whilst I was in the neighbourhood. Tried to spot the ISS, but I think it was too low on the horizon, and would have been washed out by the moon.

Time for bed - night all! :)

Glad you got bins out Vicky. Hope the ear clears up soon, I have had the same for a few days, can't hear a thing and everyone is telling me I am speaking too quietly! Makes a change! But I haven't gotten anything for it just braving it out, FiFi has had it as well and is still struggling to hear.

Didn't manage to try out new EP. It will have to wait :(

Thanks for the link Chris. Watched the final of Child Genius last night, and one of the kids had a specialist subject on The Rosetta Mission. Think I only got about 2 questions right lol.

Hope you and Fifi get right soon. Glad I went for some antibiotics and drops as they seem to have halted it's progress. I'm hoping I'll start to feel some improvement soon.

It's a beautiful morning - let's hope it stops like this for a while now. We all deserve some decent skies :)

I never got out had a take away and few swallies and I promptly crashed out on the settee to wake at midnight.

The moon was just ridiculously bright I'm surprised you guys saw anything with it.

Off today so much more mirror work and maybe make a start on the scope itself?

Hope you all get better soon
