A Sharp Needle

NGC4565, aka the 'Needle' galaxy.

I finally got round to processing images of this taken back in February. I'd been putting it off because of problems with calibration frames. Anyway, got that sorted out and here is the result.

Taken with a MN190 and QSI583 camera. 6.4 hours of luminance and about 3 hours of RGB.

Rob, I think you're right: the image could take more colour saturation. I've updated the images in the original post accordingly and I prefer the new version.
