  4. Hello all .... Does anyone know of anyway to link actions in EQMod to hotkeys? I know I can connect a gamepad but there are a few functions (UnPark, Track, Park to name a few) that would be handy using just the keyboard. Thanks

  6. Hello all ..... A while ago I was seriously into cloud sensors and ended up modding ncjinks work with the Arduino Uno to create what I felt was a decent graphical interface showing the changing sky temp and therefore the cloud. I made two versions of this - the Cloud Sensor Evo (I realise there is an Evo Plus now that looks very good) which was a static stare up device and the TeleCS which was a cloud sensor that attached to the end of the scope and looked where the scope was looking. A screen grab of the CS Evo running today is attached. It really did show delicate changing sky conditions. They both worked very well but I did have one issue that I was never able to to overcome. After a time both units would stop passing data back to the PC and the graphs would of course flat-line. To get the data passing again I would have to reboot the PC and reconnect to both Arduinos. Does anyone have any ideas why this would happen? Many thanks

  9. So could you actually focus on the moon? Away from the moon, were you using longer exposures?
  10. Point it at the moon. You need to sort out the focus point first. It might be that you don't have enough in focus or need adaptors to get it further out from the focuser. The moon is big enough and bright enough to enable you to do that. Forget about stars until you know you are in focus. Good luck.

  12. I once (repeat, once) did a 2hour Ha exposure as a test. I have never seen so many satellites before.
  13. Nice reprocess Sara. Good work. You should really go get the SII data - there is a fair bit in there.
  14. It's not bad. It was being sold in Kindle format on Amazon for £8.50 a few days ago but now it is back up over 20.
