Hello, all. I've been out of the astronomy loop for quite a while. I had a 4.5" Newt about 15 years ago, but sold it and just not got a new telescope, an 8" SCT. I'm excited to get back into the swing of things and am glad to have stumbled across this site.

I've been trying to find some good locations to setup, though, and so far haven't had much luck. Doesn't look like there's much stargazing going on around the Savannah, GA area. I live on a golf course, so that's not too bad, but for some really good locations it looks like I may wind up having to drive 1.5 hours or more.
