this is a crop of main image - no drizzle applied, just a crop and a resample to a higher resolution.

I would have loved to get a better first light, but you've got to work with what you get.  Here's a couple of common targets from 21st Jan, both in Ha.  Fingers crossed for clear skies soon to get some decent integration done.  Thanks for looking.

StellaMira 90 + 294MM Pro (Baader UNB 3.5nm Ha)

IC434 (15x300s) A real mix of sub quality.

M42 and M43 (30x120s)

Nice job Chris!  Are you using a mirror less camera?  I’d be interested to learn more as have an older Fuji XE2 that might work?

Thanks :) Yes I'm using a stock Fuji XT1 (circa 2014) connected via a Fuji FX T-ring.

There is no need to astro-modify Fuji's as they let in plenty of hydrogen alpha just as they are :)

It was great to complete a set of SHO data on the Rosette this year (I previously only managed Ha).  I used the SM90 alongside the ASI294MM and Baader UNB filters.

~4h Ha and ~2.5h OIII and SII.  Processed in PixInsight.  Thanks for looking.

This is my one and only image so far with my StellaMira 90ed and canon 6d, skywatcher az eq6 pro.

Same image but two different processes in pixinsight.

Pretty chuffed with the results, first time using the 90ed and first time imaging this object.

Not sure which I prefer 😀

Thinking of getting a dedicated astro camera for the 90ed, has anyone got any suggestions?

Loving everyone images, they all look fantastic.

Cheers Rob
