Jupiter 02-06-2018

I was very nicely surprised when I saw the image on the laptop screen, and thought that I was in for a good night of imaging.  Unfortunately it was clouded over by 22:20 UT.  It did clear later but the seeing had deteriorated, so I packed in. 

This image was taken at 21:26 UT.  Because the seeing was so good I captured this one at about f/35.

This is reduced to 80%

You can see the potential in this image if conditions allowed, some nice faint detail inside the grs, sometimes have to remind myself your using an 8"scope!
