Hi, this is Will from Texas, near Houston. I was looking for information about my gear and several times ended on this forum, so I've decided to subscribe. I'm an amateur, wannabe astronomer/ astrophotgrapher. I will see how this progress on time. Houston is a polluted spot for stargazing I have to travel 250 miles west to get good dark skies, therefore is limited to once a month. I do some planets observation from my backyard.

Cheers!

Hi Will, welcome. 250 miles! Britain feels small when you consider these wide open spaces. In Nevada once a guy told a couple from Wisconsin that in Nevada if you travel 200 miles you're still in Nevada but 200 miles in Wisconsin takes you out of the state. I told them if you travel 200 miles in Wales you're out of the country.
