Took this photo of the Markarian's Chain during my visit to Namibia in April 2017.

Photo Details:
8 x 10Min Lum channel.
15 Min for each RGB channel

Telescope: ASA 12'' F3.6
Mount: ASA DDM85
Camera: FLI8300 Mono with Astrodon filters

Yes it is 3x5min for each channel. I think I should have taking more RGB since it was hard to process it.

I love this target and that's a great capture.  I would be interested to hear more about your Namibian experiences as I fancy that trip.  Is there a thread on that too?

Shows what you can get under *really* dark skies. So many really faint galaxies.

I like this a lot; plenty of galaxies nicely captured and processed without too much aggression.
