Cocoon Nebula over 3 nights, Long Focal length (2m)

First image for a while due to various reasons so it was great to get some new data to play with and to get a few moon free clear nights for once. Just over 10hrs total integration in LRGB taken 26th, 29th & 30th August.  The data was pretty smooth for LRGB as I image from a not so dark site so this was a definite bonus when it came to the processing. Imaged with the usual equipment, LX200ACF 305mm on original fork mounting, QSI683wsg camera. Thanks for looking and any comments received greatly appreciated.

Great detail there! I assume you are using a wedge?

Yes and then drift aligned.

Great detail in the centre of the nebula emphasising the darker stuff.  Is the background a little black point clipped, it appears quite dark on my monitor.

I like it!

Thanks Barry. I don't think the background is clipped, the histogram looks ok. Could be down to monitor variation i suppose.
