You did well! I got a petrol lawnmower. :D

I bought my wife a petrol lawnmower many years ago. She managed to crash it into the. Fence and every other t hing she could find in t he garden until I gave in and cut the grass myself. SAFER, but not the carefully thought out and (I thought) well planned intention!

This sounds suspiciously like dropping dishes to get out of washing up.

As an update - I forgot to mention I got a DVD "In The Shadow of the Moon" by Ron Howard. Fantastic documentary with Apollo Astronauts giving bones and all POV!

Also got BluRay edition of Dredd (Karl Urban).

"Mega blocks, mega highways - Mega City 1"!

Hiya, I did well, too. A lovely ES 8.8, 82 degree eyepiece, and a pair of Helios Naturesport Plus 10x50s. I also got a snazzy pair of fingerless gloves, and a couple of bottles of whisky. :)

I just said cash, so after christmas i ended up with about £120 cash. I said to my wife "£120 i can now afford a 9mm ES 100 FOV and a x4 powermate" she neither knows what they are or how much they really cost! so if you see her please don't let it slip!

Here's my astro related pressie list:

A3 framed Red Dwarf (mining ship, not a star)

A3 framed Carl Sagan 'we are all made of star stuff'

USB spaceman LED lamp

Space themed plastic storage boxes (useful for cables etc)

Sky at Night magazine for another 6 months.

Astronomer's Almanac 2016

Astro images calendar 2016

Astronomy photographer of the year calendar 2016

Guide to the night sky book 2016

And, as per my own tradition, I have just bought a Christmas pressie to me from me - a Canon 6D and 24mm 1.4 lens.

Didn't he do well?!
